The post is long overdue! Europe is what I took on back in April of this with mia momma. Funny thing, it during Easter! We started in Paris at Notre Dame with the priest starting the prayers for the holy month and we ended it in Montepellier, France finishing it all off. I promise to update, only thing is most of my pictures are on my old laptop which crashed! (I miss you chip thing that burned away).
This was the attack plan for my backpacking across Europe with a carry on. At most we spent a night in each city and the trip was 15 days. Most memorable days ever!
I started with flying in Paris from Birmingham.
We stayed in Paris for about a two nights before flying off to Budapest, Hungary.
From Budapest, we headed to Bratislava, Slovakia.
From there to Vienna, Austria.
Followed by a train ride to the Sound of Music, Salzburg.
From Austria to Munich, the centre of all German culture.
We headed out to Innsburck, Austria to stay the night before taking an almost day long train trip to Zurich.
Then off to to Zurich, Switzerland!
After enough a day trip to Schaffhausen.
To note: The train trip from Zurich to Milan is one of the most memorable parts of the trip! There is no other way to experience Switzerland than to take a train across the whole country! In Milan we explored the city and Torino, a city up north.
From there we ventured to Nice, France. Enjoying our three day break in Nice, we checked out Cannes, and Monte Carlo, Monaco. From there we said good bye as we took the train to Montpellier to fly back to England to eventually home.
This has to be the most condensed and active trip ever to see Europe. Spending at most a day to see all the sights and what each city had to offer had to be the best and the extra bonding time with momsie was a bonus.
Totes promise to update with a post from each city, let me just find all the pictures 🙂
