The Insomniac Life

I did it again. Even when I told myself that I wouldn’t.

I stayed up till 4 am studying, so of course I would wake up at 2pm, not seeing any sight of the sun. Only clouds and my tea lights.

No matter how hard I try, it seems that my brain does not want to absorb anything of intelligence until everyone in my house is fast asleep and snoring for me to understand the procedural significance of how a Form 4 is filled in criminal procedures. FYI: I still don’t understand ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Between cups of tea, coffee, snacks and water; I guess university habits die hard. When truly there are no distractions; it’s just you and your books.

At least I have mastered the art of using concealerย so I look wide awake when you do meet me. Always a bright side.

  1. Hi5 from a fellow twenty something law student. (well not anymore I guess, I just graduated from law school a month ago but it feels weird not to say that I am not a law student anymore) I start work in 10 days and I am still struggling with the bad habit of sleeping in the morning and waking up after half of the day has passed. :/

I start work in 10 days and I am still struggling with sleeping on time and getting up on time. :/ you just gotta sleep for like 15 hours straight and then not sleep the next entire day so by the time its 10 pm, you’re dead tired. Lol. It works for me at times but requires a lot of effort!

  3. I need to master the art of concealer lol it’s really strange for me too. I think I’m going to have to reprogram myself with “sleepytime” tea; a cup at 11:30, sleep, wake up at 6am or so. That means getting studying done during the day regardless >.< but it's been said some of the geniuses in the world stayed up til 4-5am and slept in til 9 or 10am!
